Fundamental Skills and Techniques in CBT
2 days £215
25th and 26th May 2010
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) is a structured form of therapy that applies a process of change which starts with Agenda Setting. This process of emotional change is not only grounded in common sense but it is empirically tested. This structured approach enables a therapist to work very effectively and confidently but it also allows clients to learn and to take control of their emotional change as well as learn to become their own psychological coaches. This work shop is both theoretical and experiential and is designed to for all healthcare professionals, CBT therapists as well as those working with other therapeutic models. It is a clear and practical workshop providing an appropriate professional setting to observe CBT skills and techniques demonstrated and then applied within role play or as part of personal growth and development.
