Introduction to CBT
2 days £215
20th and 21st April 2010
This 2 day clear and practical course will cover the basic concepts and principles of CBT. CBT is a psychotherapeutic approach which in essence says it is not the event that causes your feelings but the way that you think about the event. Whether the event is in the past, present, future or whether it is real or imaginal. CBT is recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) for the treatment of many mental health conditions. This course is an ideal introduction for complete beginners interested in CBT and to those who already have experience in other forms of therapy. It is therefore useful for all healthcare professionals, psychotherapists, counsellors, hypnotherapists who wish to introduce CBT within their therapeutic framework.
