Self image is how we see and value ourselves. We have many self images about our abilities in different situations and contexts. Our self images, habits and attitudes are stored in our sub-conscious mind. Many of them can be progressive and life enhancing but a great number are based on ÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂpsychological garbageÃÂ¢ÃÂÃÂ accumulated since childhood. Self images are responsible for our behaviour and performance.
By understanding how we create and maintain our self images, we can break negative ones and replace them with healthier more constructive images in order to effect a change in our behaviour and performance.
